Who We Are

Hello and thank you for stopping by to check out our site. My name is Ryan Sweeney and I would like to introduce myself as the proud Owner/Operator of The Butler Cleaning Company. 

For over 15 years I worked in the film industry, primarily "on set" in the production department on numerous films and television shows, followed by a 5 year stint in project development for a major film production company. Upon getting married to my incredible wife, I realized that the constant travel and the rigorous schedule of film was not conducive to being the most present husband and dad that I could possibly be.

I began my new career as an Estate Manager, managing high end estates for private individuals and families. In these positions I manage the day to day operations of portfolios of homes, to include: managing estate staff, vendor coordination and scheduling, guest relations, managing the care and upkeep of fleets of vehicles, boats and private aircraft, IT oversight, art inventory management, large scale event planning and execution, overseeing private security measures, tracking property inventories and supervising construction projects...just to name a few items.

In these roles one of the most important, and consistent, aspects are overseeing the Cleaning Procedures of the properties as well as the overall performance of the cleaners. I've spent countless hours researching the best products, what works best on various materials, and sometimes just as important, what doesn't work so well. I've educated myself over the years on various types of surfaces, be it for flooring, countertops or furnishings and what tools and products work best for optimal results. 

I've taken great care of some of the most beautiful estates from Charleston to San Diego and from Cape Cod to Los Angeles. EVERYONE deserves a clean, safe home environment no matter the size or the contents. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
